School of Business welcomes familiar face as new academic advisor

Louise Moceri is the newest academic advisor in the Wayne State University School of Business. Moceri began her new position on May 26.

While she may be in a new office, Moceri is well known to students, faculty and alumni in the business school. She has worked the last several years in the school’s marketing and communications office and even served previously as an academic advisor to business school students.

Moceri, who will primarily advise undergraduate accounting students, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Detroit. She enjoys working with students to reach their academic goals by guiding them through their major, as well as introducing them to networking opportunities within student organizations.

Excited about the school’s connection with the city’s business community, Moceri wants to help students realize what amazing opportunities lie within the school itself and in Detroit, both academically and professionally.
