Obama to visit Detroit auto show and tout revival after bailout

President Obama was the third president to visit the North American International Auto Show yesterday. Marick Masters, professor of management at Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business and director of Labor@Wayne, provided insight into the importance of President Obama's policy decision to bailout GM and Chrysler.

"I think the Obama administration had tremendous foresight. I think he realized that if GM and Chrysler would have gone under then Ford would have gone under as well. Multiple suppliers would have gone under also and the industry would have been decimated." Masters said.
