Mayor Bing names accounting, banking executives to financial advisory board

Sandra Pierce (Marketing,’80; M.B.A., ’87) has been appointed to a joint state-city financial advisory board by Detroit Mayor Dave Bing. Currently, Pierce is the CEO of Charter One Bank of Michigan. In 2010, she helped oversee the Detroit Public School district’s $500 million facilities program as a member of the Bond Advisory and Fiscal Responsibility Committee. She is a native of Detroit and now resides in Northville.
