Join CLLAS for Latinx and Native graduation

Wayne State’s Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies will be hosting its eighth annual Latinx and Native student graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 4.

The ceremony is open to all graduating WSU undergraduate, graduate and professional school students. Latinx and Native students are encouraged to attend.

The purpose of the ceremony is to highlight achievements of Latinx and Native graduates at WSU, provide a space for honoring the support and contributions of family, friends, mentors and the community and motivate future Latinx and Native Warriors to reach their degrees.

The event is free to attend and refreshments will also be provided. A special sash and sweet grass will be given to all participating graduates.
