Ilitch Business football student-athletes recognized for academic achievements

For the Fall 2018 semester, 17 football players in the Mike Ilitch School of Business received All-GLIAC All-Academic Honors – recognized for having a cumulative grade-point average of at least a 3.0.

Seven Ilitch Business student-athletes were named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to 3.49: Luke Bevilacqua (management), Andy Bielecki (global supply chain management), Will Butler (management), Luke Ketterman (finance), Greg McDade (marketing), DeOntay Moffett (management) and Preston Pelham (MBA).

Additionally, 10 Ilitch Business student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Excellence Team for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better: Jake AmRhein (marketing), Drew Dowsing (finance), Paul Graham (MBA), Shane Holler (management), Cooper Kukal (management), Taylor McCarthy (finance), Lane Potter (global supply chain management), Justin Rau (global supply chain management), Spencer Stephenson (marketing) and Reid Thompson (marketing).

To earn conference All-Academic recognition, student-athletes must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season, and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. For more information, visit WSU Athletics.
