Ilitch Business football student-athletes congratulated for GLIAC All-Academic Team achievements

Thirty-nine (39) members of the 2019 Wayne State University football team were recognized with Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic accolades as announced by the conference office. The number of recipients equals the school record set in 2016. Over the last 10 years, 313 Warrior football student-athletes have earned GLIAC All-Academic honors. 

Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first-year transfer student. 

The nine Ilitch Business student-athletes receiving GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 were Jake AmRhein (marketing), Justin Rau (global supply chain management), Taylor McCarty (finance), Lane Potter (global supply chain management), Cooper Kukal (management), Reid Thompson (marketing), Chuckie Anthony (management), Noah Nicklin (finance) and Kevin Skonning (management). 

The eight Ilitch Business student-athletes named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0-3.49 were Andy Bielecki (global supply chain management), Luke Ketterman (global supply chain management), Dakota Kupp (marketing), DeOntay Moffett (global supply chain management), Luke Bevilacqua (global supply chain management), Spencer Stephenson (marketing), Nolan Kimmey (marketing) and Joe Wright (accounting).
