Financial Management Association invites accomplished entrepreneur to panel discussion

The Financial Management Association will host Jacob Cohen, a partner at Detroit Venture Partners in downtown Detroit, Thursday, Feb. 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in room 145. Cohen holds an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, as well as a law degree from Michigan.

Cohen has a long track record of stellar entrepreneurial experience. In addition to his role at DVP, he currently manages Dan Gilbert's personal venture capital investments. He is also a board member to several companies, including StockX, Genius, 100 Thieves and GuardHat. 

Cohen will discuss the necessary skills that are required to be successful in the world of venture capital, as well as growing industries the firm sees in and around the metro Detroit area.
