Executive search veteran and Ilitch Business alum John Bukowicz joins Board of Visitors

The Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business is proud to welcome John Bukowicz to its Board of Visitors. Board of Visitors members serve at the invitation of the dean. Their role is to advise and support the dean on the strategic direction and advancement of the school.

A four-time graduate of Wayne State University, Bukowicz brings more than 37 years of combined executive search and corporate experience to his dual role as president and CEO of Corporate Consulting Associates, Inc. (CCA) and managing director and founding shareholder for LIASE Group Ltd.

LIASE provides executive search expertise with a global office reach across four continents and in 17 countries. Industry specialization includes Internet of Things (IoT), automotive and emerging technology. CCA’s industry concentration includes energy, consumer products, industrial, healthcare, education, and nonprofit.

Bukowicz is a respected and recognized leader in the international and U.S. executive search industry. He has successfully performed over 600 C-level and senior executive assignments for international conglomerates to closely held and start-up corporations. Bukowicz serves as the global practice leader with expertise in cross-industry and cross-country/cultural executive searches.

A frequent lecturer, recognized industry expert, e-business interviewee and insightful speaker, Bukowicz has received excellent reviews for his presentations on future employment trends in disruptive tech markets (IoT, mobility, etc.) and challenges faced in global talent recruitment and cultural transformation. He serves on a number of educational and cultural boards as well as professional groups and advisory committees.

Bukowicz has earned a B.A. in computer science, a B.S. in accounting, an M.B.A. in finance and a graduate certificate in information systems, all from Wayne State University.
