ENGAGE Symposium adds Sandy Baruah to list of speakers

Online registration ends March 15.

Wayne State University and Mainstay Capital Management have announced that the Honorable Sandy K. Baruah has been added to the list of speakers during the first day of the ENGAGE International Investment Education Symposium, on Thursday, March 26.

Baruah has been president and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber, one of the largest in the country, since 2010. Prior to joining the Chamber, Baruah served in the administration of President George W. Bush as administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. assistant secretary of commerce. He also served in the administration of President George H. W. Bush.

Coming to Detroit's Cobo Center on March 26-27, ENGAGE 2015 is expected to draw students, faculty and professionals from across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to Baruah, the first day of the symposium features internationally renowned financial leaders sharing their outlooks on the economy, stocks, alternative investments and international markets.
