DBusiness: WSU’s Mike Ilitch School of Business, Google host entrepreneur training event

The National Entrepreneurs Association, Google and Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business will host the 2019 Entrepreneur and Small Business Conference: Power Up Your Business on Oct. 11. The one-day conference, which includes keynote speakers, panel discussions, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and two digital training sessions, will train entrepreneurs in modern technologies that can help grow their businesses more efficiently. Tommey Walker, creator of Detroit vs. Everybody, will serve as the morning keynote speaker. Attendees will be able to choose from nine breakout sessions and Google will offer two training sessions. The conference will conclude with awards being presented to entrepreneurs who serve as role models in the community. Paul Glantz, chairman of Emagine Entertainment and the closing keynote speaker, will receive the NEA Lifetime Achievement Award for his accomplishments in entrepreneurship. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mike Ilitch School of Business.
