Confidence is key: WSU business school to offer new student workshops

Do you get nervous just thinking about interviewing for a job or internship? Have you ever skipped applying for a job because you thought, “Why would they hire me?” If we’re being honest, would you describe yourself as shy?

If you are a Wayne State business student and answered yes to any of these questions, you should sign up for the Office of Career Planning and Placement’s (CPP) first ever Confidence Workshop. Led by SBA career advisor Landall Proctor, the workshop will teach students and alumni how to confidently land that dream job by succeeding in the interview.

The workshop will take place on four consecutive Wednesdays beginning on Feb. 11 at 1:30 p.m. Grades are not given during this course but commitment to each class is expected. Registration is limited to 12 students, so act quickly if you are interested. Get more information or reserve your spot today by emailing Landall Proctor at landall.proctor@wayne.edu.
