CARMA webcasts aid faculty, grad students in conducting research

On Nov. 18, as a part of its ongoing Web series, CARMA hosted its third live webcast lecture of the CARMA Consortium Webcast Program. The presenters were Kevin Carlson of Virginia Tech University, Rick Hoyle of Duke University, and Richard Gonzalez of the University of Michigan.

The presentations were intended for faculty and graduate students aspiring to conduct high-quality scholarly research. Kevin Carlson presented “Control Variables and Multi-collineaerity: Things We Thought We Knew.” Rick Hoyle presented “Modeling Longitudinal Data Using Structural Equation Methods,” and Richard Gonzalez presented “3-D Visualization of Data and Models.”

Following the lecture, CARMA held a “Meet the Methodologist” interview program with all three presenters, which was broadcasted live via its Facebook page.

CARMA has five more live webcasts scheduled as part of the 2011-2012 series. Visit the calendar for additional information.
