Business Student Senate hosts blood drive, exceeds donation goal

On Tuesday, January 26 the Wayne State University School of Business Student Senate hosted a blood drive for the American Red Cross, the largest supplier of blood and blood products in the United States. The senate collected 34 units of blood, which exceeded their goal of 25 units. The American Red Cross informed the senate that the 34 units would potentially save the lives of 102 people. The Senate plans to continue supporting the American Red Cross with future blood drives.

The School of Business Administration Student Senate is a student government organization that provides a forum for interaction between the local business community, business school organizations, students and faculty. The organization helps develop business students into civic leaders and contributors to the advancement of the field of business.
