Amanuel Tekleab named editor-in-chief of management journal

Mike Ilitch School of Business Professor of Management Amanuel Tekleab was named editor-in-chief of the Journal of Managerial Psychology (JMP), a peer-reviewed journal that publishes rigorous theoretical and empirical research on the psychological and social understanding and impact of management in organizations.

"Amanuel will be joining a list of prestigious scholars that have served as editor-in-chief for this journal," said Christine Jackson, department chair and professor. "We are very proud of this impressive accomplishment."

According to the JMP website, "JMP positions itself at the leading edge of developments in psychological knowledge as applied to managing and organizing people and work. JMP encourages novel discourse and the application of theory and best practices in research and science, aiming to provide a bridge from science to practice, and from practice to science."
