Ayse Karaca successfully defends dissertation

On Monday, July 25, Mike Ilitch School of Business doctoral student Ayse Karaca successfully defended her dissertation, “Conflict About Conflict:  Antecedents, Consequences, and Moderators of Conflict Asymmetry in Teams.” 

Karaca's dissertation committee included Ilitch School professors Amanuel G. Tekleab (chair), Toni Somers and Larry Williams, and Wayne State University professor and chair of psychology Boris Baltes. In addition, former Ilitch School professor Natalia Lorinkova was a member of Karaca's dissertation proposal before her departure from Wayne State. 

Karaca has already accepted a job at Dumlupinar University in Turkey as assistant professor of management and will resume her role as a faculty member there in September 2016.
