Muhammad Ahmed

2020 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner

B.S. in Management expected May 2020 

Muhammad Ahmed has made the dean's list every semester of his four years at WSU and maintains a 3.99 GPA with honors. His merit scholarships include the Raymond Genick Scholarship, the Lawrence and Charlynne Braun Endowed Scholarship, the WSU Presidential Scholarship and the WSU Scholars Day Award. 

Muhammad plans to begin medical school in the fall and work toward a dual degree M.D./M.B.A. program. He spent two years working as a medical scribe for Harper University Hospital  DMC and currently works as a medical assistant for HUDA Clinic and as a patient observation aide for Beaumont Health.  

Muhammad is a very active student on Wayne State's campus, serving as a Mike Ilitch School of Business student ambassador and as the religious services director for the WSU Muslim Students Association. 

Muhammad's current volunteer experience includes serving as a youth director for the Islamic Association of Michigan and a clinical research assistant for Karmanos Cancer Institute.
