Matthew Stevens earned his bachelor of science in business administration with a major in supply chain management from Grand Valley State University in 2016. Throughout his career, Matthew has been able to develop himself within his own role by consistently learning from his peers and leaders.
Right out of college, Matthew was recruited to work for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles at their Jefferson North Assembly Plant as a material area supervisor, where he managed 30 employees. Matthew is currently a senior analyst at American Axle Manufacturing, where he is responsible for flawless execution of prototype programs and implementing tracking for specific builds to ensure on-time delivery for all major prototype programs.
Along with his continued professional development, Matthew has been able to perform at an exceptional level at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, maintaining a 3.85 GPA as a full-time graduate student with a 40-hour work week. He also volunteers at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit.
