Taylor Smith

B.S. in Finance expected December 2018
A member of the Wayne State University Honors College and the Delta Zeta Sorority, Taylor Smith is highly involved in community service efforts. She has volunteered for the Detroit Veterans Housing Kitchen and currently works with Co-ops for a Cause through DENSO International.
Taylor completed a financial management co-op before taking a position at DENSO, where she works as a co-op for Toyota in its delivery department. Her job responsibilities include coordinating daily prototype and service parts shipments, managing database reporting functions, and managing internal part set-ups and process shipments and invoices through JD Edwards.
She recently received an offer for an internship at GM this summer, and will be the only one of 25 interns from Wayne State. With this new opportunity, Taylor says she is excited to represent Wayne State and show what Ilitch School students are capable of.
