2018 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner

B.S. in Finance and Information Systems Management expected May 2019

A member of the Honors College, Anchita Sanam is highly involved on campus. She is the Ilitch School's representative on the Wayne State University Student Senate and a student representative on WSU's Budget Planning Council.

Most recently, Anchita completed a mortgage operations internship with Quicken Loans where she provided audit feedback to underwriters, compiled loan production metrics and gained a firm understanding of the mortgage process. While at Quicken Loans, she received a $1,000 scholarship for placing first in a TED Talk style competition that featured 20 interns.

She also interned at Mercedes Benz Financial Services with the chief information officer, and she participates in the Ilitch School's Corporate Mentor Program.

In addition to her involvement in different campus organizations, Anchita is also a volunteer for Wayne State's HIGH program and a member of the Financial Management Association. Next year, she will serve as the CEO of the Business School Student Senate.
