Rachel Jones

2018 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner

B.S. in Global Supply Chain Management, B.A. in Russian expected August 2018

An active member and COO of Business Student Senate, Rachel Jones has been involved in a number of community service activities in her time at Wayne State.

She has worked on projects with Orthodox Detroit Outreach, and served on the Community Outreach Committee of the Business Student Senate, where she has coordinated blood drives and donated gifts to foster children.

Rachel has gained tremendous field experience through in her various internship roles. Last summer, she worked for General Dynamics Land Systems as a Sustainment Supply Support Logistics intern. She is currently a purchasing intern at thyssenkrupp, a German multinational conglomerate with a focus on industrial engineering and steel production. She also participates in the Ilitch School's Corporate Mentor Program.

Along with her community service and professional experience, Rachel is a member of the Global Supply Chain Management Association and was part of the team that took first place overall in the Weber State University (Utah) supply chain case competition in February 2018. 

She also works as a linguistics research assistant at Wayne State.
