2018 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner
B.S. in Management expected December 2018
Leif Clark is in the Mike Ilitch School of Business accelerated MBA program (AGRADE) planning concentrations in International Business and Human Resources. He is also a B-Start student, former DTE Energy intern, Wayne State University Honors student, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Theta Kappa, Society for Human Resource Management, National Federation of Independent Business and Inforum Michigan.
Graduating high school with 52 college credits from Macomb Community College, Leif is on track to obtain his bachelor's degree in Business Management this December and his MBA in May 2019.
When not participating in on-campus activities, he runs two successful businesses, in part due to an Ilitch School entrepreneurship course. Leif opened his first business, Ericson Mint LLC, in 2015, and started his second, On Guard! LLC, in 2017. On Guard! is a private lifeguard service provider that covers Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Wayne and Washtenaw counties.
Leif currently works as an accounts payable intern for Project Worldwide in Auburn Hills and will be returning to work at DTE Energy Headquarters this summer. Wayne State and the Honors College have given Leif the opportunities to volunteer at several career fairs, tutor underprivileged first graders in Detroit's Bunche Elementary School in reading, and assist a nonprofit co-working space located in Corktown.
